Today we make Turmeric Latte

Ok so turmeric seems to be the new buzz word. I see it everywhere I go (and trust me, I’m happy I do). But you might be wondering why you see it everywhere?
Well Turmeric is a fantastic as an anti-inflammatory so when you’re feeling a little unwell and have a sore throat. My husband makes a great mix of turmeric, freshly grated ginger, lemon and a bit of agave syrup in hot water every time I’m ill. It’s super soothing and helps with the sore throat pain.

Making turmeric latte’s has become my favourite past day (even when I’m not unwell). I find it so soothing, warming and to be honest it just feels like a big hug! It’s super simple to do… just mix 1 cup of your favourite milk (I like almond milk) with 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp agave and a small bit of grated ginger and sprinkle of black pepper and cinnamon. Heat it together in a pan and froth it up so it’s nice and bubbly and enjoy warm.

Now I know I promised you all many more blog posts but I’ve just been so busy packing and preparing for my yoga teacher training. (I’m writing this sitting in the departure area). I’m hoping it will be an amazing experience and I’m looking forward to the challenges that await but I just want to apologise if you don’t hear from me in a while! I hope to update you all once I’m back!
